The O’Shea Keleher neighborhood in east El Paso is home to more than 7,000 people. The neighborhood is named for Helen O'Shea Keleher, who in the early 1900s ran what was then referred to as a “poor farm” in the area, providing shelter and care for homeless adults and orphaned children. Today, it is a quiet neighborhood with more than 2,400 homes that were built in the 1980s and 1990s. It is surrounded by retail and other amenities.
