Why Live in Veteran's Park
Veteran’s Park is a little neighborhood in northeast El Paso that draws homebuyers for its convenient yet quiet location. “I was born and raised around here, and it’s always been kind of a peaceful little retreat,” says Jennifer Ceniceros, a Home Pros Real Estate Realtor with more than five years of experience working with clients in the area. “It’s true what they say – that everything’s bigger in Texas. We have more room, more space around us, and you can see that here. But there’s also plenty of shopping, restaurants and parks around,” she says. The Franklin Mountains are visible to the west, unobstructed by the neighborhood’s low ranch-style homes or short desert willows and mesquite trees. Prices start at close to $125,000 and climb to just over $350,000, a range typical for northeast El Paso, but well below the national median. “It’s very affordable compared to the rest of the country, even the rest of the city,” Ceniceros says. Homes usually go under contract in under a month, several weeks faster than the national average. El Paso Independent School District allows open enrollment, but the neighborhood is zoned for Torres Elementary, Charles Middle and Andress High. All
