Willowdale offers a serene setting on Elkhart’s north side, combining natural beauty with urban convenience. Christiana Creek winds through its namesake Willowdale Park, which has a playground, basketball courts and a rentable pavilion. The neighborhood is also home to the Wellfield Botanic Gardens, known as “Michiana’s most beautiful location.” Seasonal events at the gardens include the city’s annual Winter Wonderland holiday light display and Taste of the Gardens food festival. The Interurban Trolley Blue Line has stops nearby, providing access to public transportation and service to downtown.
