Lake Daniel is a residential neighborhood in Greensboro situated near downtown. Midcentury ranch-style homes, Tudor Revivals and Cape Cods make up much of the housing stock in the center of the neighborhood, while the east end is filled with smaller homes. Lake Daniel is within the Guilford County Schools district. Grimsley High School, which is highly rated, sits within the neighborhood and is within walking distance for many students. Downtown Greensboro is reachable by car or via Greensboro Transit Agency buses that stop on North Josephine Boyd Street. West Wendover Avenue connects the neighborhood to Interstate 40 and the Greensboro Urban Loop.
