Murphysburg is an older neighborhood in Joplin that’s known for its diverse architecture and historic roots. Most homes were built between the 1890s and the 1920s and feature Queen Anne, Neoclassical, Tudor, Colonial Revival, Prairie and Romanesque styles. Each house features its own distinct look with multicolored shingles, floral paintings and wrap-around porches.
