Sheraton Estates in Kansas City is a historically significant neighborhood established in 1957 to provide newly built subdivisions for Black homeowners. The neighborhood's rich history is reflected in its architecture and its connection to influential figures and past residents like Bruce R. Watkins, Kansas City’s first Black councilman.
