Head to the Den for a night out

After that, students can go to East Central Heritage Middle School, which also has a C rating. Samuel Clemens High School has an A-minus Niche rating and offers the International Baccalaureate Program. Parents can also send their children to St. Hedwig Catholic School for kindergarten through eighth grade. The school is part of St. Hedwig Catholic Church, which has been serving the community since 1874.

In St. Hedwig, residents can embrace the outdoors at the local park. At St. Hedwig City Park, people can take walks on the winding trails or enjoy picnics. There is also a free library to borrow books. Locals can shoot hoops at La Vernia City Par or take a walk along the colorful trails.

Hollow Creek Ranch is a premier venue for special events, especially weddings, in St. Hedwig. With its proximity to San Antonio, residents often drive into the city for holiday parades, food festivals and other cultural festivals.
Take Farm to Market Road 1283 to San Antonio
Residents can take Farm to Market Road 1283 to Highway 211 to San Antonio, which is about 21 miles away. When locals are traveling out of town, Interstate Highway 410 North goes to San Antonio International Airport, 25.5 miles away.Due to the rural nature of the area and its expansive farmland, St. Hedwig is not highly walkable, and residents rely heavily on cars for transportation.
