Perhaps the most anticipated event of the year, however, is the Allen Park Street Fair during the first weekend in August.

Ranch-style and Colonial Revivals in established Allen Park
Mature trees cast shade on sidewalks in front of homes. The area is fully developed, so new builds are rare; the existing homes have instead been well-kept and many boast recently renovated interiors. Allen Park contains mostly three-bedroom midcentury brick ranch-style homes costing between $170,000 and $250,000. However, there are some two-story Colonial Revivals and homes dating back to the 1920s. There is only a minor risk of flooding to area homes, but roads may flood occasionally.
