Home to one of Amarillo's most popular attractions
The small neighborhood of Santa Fe Station spans seven avenues and blends into the typical scenery of downtown Amarillo with its early 20th-century homes and grid-like layout. It’s zoned for the highly rated Amarillo Independent School District, and the community stays relatively active. It’s home to some of the city’s most popular stops, including the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum and El Alamo Park. It has also recently attracted developers who have built new homes in the neighborhood. “We actually don’t have a lot of downtown area residences,” says native Texan Jinger White, a Realtor with Era Courtyard Real Estate. “But they’re popping up in places like these that have some foot traffic.”
