Skyline High School has an A-plus and is known by Ann Arbor locals for its Magnet Programs focusing on Communications Media, Business, Health Care and STEM.
Residents benefit from a diverse selection of nearby shopping and restaurant options. Within a mile, Kerrytown Market & Shops is known for its expansive farmers market and boutique feel in a busy, mini-mall setting. Water Hill is also convenient to grocery stores such as Aldi and Kroger.With many breweries and bars in the area, Water Hill locals can check out spots like Ann Arbor Distilling Co. for a mix of cocktails and craft beer, with food truck munchies positioned just outside the brewery. Serving up Japanese and Korean dishes, Miki Japanese Restaurant is a local mainstay known for its friendly service, sushi and beer. A popular spot for a sandwich is Zingerman's Delicatessen, where the Reuben is so popular that the restaurant served it to famous patrons like President Obama and Oprah Winfrey.
On weekends, the University of Michigan provides more chances for outdoor recreation, entertainment and culture, with many concerts and events taking place around campus. And of course, the Wolverines football games are always big events at the nearby University of Michigan.
