Lakefront homes with traditional and contemporary styles

Most of the homes in Viridian are new builds with some new construction still ongoing in parts of the neighborhood. “It’s a nice, quiet, quaint community,” says Kimberly Vo, owner and broker of Kimberly Adams Realty. “It’s kind of like a town all itself inside a city.” Modern townhouses have open floor plans and range between the mid-$300,000s and mid-$600,000s. Most single-family homes feature traditional and contemporary architecture and have brick exteriors with covered porches and private backyards. Smaller one-story homes range from the lower $400,000s to the lower $600,000s, while larger two-story homes range from the mid-$600,000s to the upper $900,000s. Luxury waterfront homes have stone veneers and boat docks into the nearby lakes and range between $1 million and $1.3 million.

Viridian’s lakes, parks and recreational facilities

Viridian has five lakes where residents can go boating, canoeing and fishing. “The lakes are beautiful,” says Suzanne Mardock, a resident and Ready Real Estate agent. “There are miles and miles of walking trails, green spaces, parks and lots of community activities.” The 6-acre lake club has five swimming pools, a pavilion and a small amphitheater where live concerts take place, while the View at Storm Park has two pickleball courts and covered patios around a resort-style pool. Many residents play singles and doubles matches on one of the tennis center’s four courts, and the Viridian Sailing Center offers sailboats and paddleboards for rent. There’s also several parks around the area, including Fossil Park, which features a prehistoric playset. The Riverside Golf Club has an 18-hole public golf course that borders the east side of the neighborhood.
