A centrally located West Baltimore suburb

Hunting Ridge exudes “that rare combination of a natural environment in a city location,” says Mary Foreman, longtime Baltimore resident and Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway PenFed Realty. Scattered with towering oak trees and situated adjacent to Gwynn Falls/Leakin Park, this West Baltimore suburb has plenty of access to nature. The community features detached single-family builds of various architectural styles, an uncommon characteristic in an area that often consists solely of rowhouses. “Hunting Ridge is a kind of Hansel and Gretel neighborhood,” Foreman says. “It’s hilly and the homes are unique. You’ve got cottages and colonials built by craftsmen and wonderful gardens.” Complete with access to Route 40, Hunting Ridge offers convenience to shopping, dining, schools and downtown Baltimore attractions, just 5 miles east.
