The Whisper Walk subdivision is a 55+ community broken into five sections consisting of attached villas with patios. These homes, built primarily in the 1980s and '90s, feature modern rooflines and simple shapes. Other homes in the area are Mediterranean-inspired homes with copper tile roofs and tall archways or ranch homes in neutral colors with wide driveways. The villas in the neighborhood go for $200,000 to $400,000. Other single-family homes cost between $450,000 and $650,000; larger homes with more bedrooms can cost up to $1 million. Whisper Walk is bordered by Highway 441 to the west and Florida’s Turnpike to the east. Both roads are direct lines straight to the rest of South Florida. Yamato Road leads to Interstate 95 or the beaches of Boca Raton, less than 10 miles away. Bus stops in the neighborhood are primarily concentrated on Yamato Road. Whisper Walk is directly between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport. Both are about 30 miles away.
