The area just outside the city is known as Southside and features residential subdivisions such as Lake Reynovia and Mill Creek, which have a suburban feel with tree-lined streets and traditional homes. The area also includes newer communities such as Galaxie Farm, where modern homes and townhouses overlook Carter Mountain.
