Its new construction, quiet streets and mountain views have made it a popular spot for people who want proximity to Las Vegas without the hustle and bustle of a big city. “It’s also more affordable than Henderson and most of Las Vegas,” says Amanda Bolton, Realtor and Broker for LPT Realty, a Las Vegas resident for over 31 years and selling in the region for over 10 years. “You can still get a great deal.” Numerous shopping and dining destinations are available to residents on Craig Road, including a variety of grocery and big-box stores. The neighborhood is adjacent to the North Las Vegas Airport and just west of a large industrial zone along Interstate 5. Premier nightlife, entertainment and casinos are about 6 miles south in Downtown Las Vegas.

From annual celebrations to farmers markets, movies in the park and cultural festivals, there’s always something residents can attend in Cheyenne and North Las Vegas. “The city organized southern Nevada’s first and only mariachi competition for high school bands,” says Greg Bortolin, communications director for the city of North Las Vegas. “We’re hoping to make it a regional and state competition. There are also a lot of family-friendly and holiday celebrations that take place at Craig Ranch Regional Park year-round.”
