Eateries and entertainment in walking distance
Interquest resembles an entertainment district, drawing in a sea of fresh faces looking to live close to local bars, restaurants and indoor activities. "It's a bustling area with lots of walking around; there is quite a bit to do," Aimee Fletcher, a real estate agent with The Fletcher Team and Associates, says. Anchored by the Interquest Marketplace shopping center, convenience is key for neighborhood residents. The Air Force Academy and Davis Airfield, across Interstate 25, bring with them a little noise, but many residents find a sense of patriotism being so close to the Academy.

Chef Ramsey-approved bison meatloaf Wellington
The rows of shops and eateries along Interquest Parkway are a primary reason people move to this neighborhood. Interquest Marketplace shopping mall offers plenty of entertainment and restaurants, highlighted by Scheels and the indoor Ferris wheel. The shopping mall houses several major chain restaurants and fast-food joints throughout. Omelets Etc. starts the morning for many neighborhood residents, offering breakfast staples like hashbrowns, pancakes and, of course, omelets. Colorado Mountain Brewery can draw a crowd on Friday nights, serving dozens of craft brews and cocktails alongside the bison meatloaf Wellington, which earned approval from superstar Chef Gordan Ramsey. Pause Ultra Lounge offers sushi in a dimly lit environment with neon lights around the bar. Finding big-name retailers, like Target and Walmart, requires a vehicle just a few miles down North Powers Boulevard. Head north on Voyager Parkway to find Sprouts Farmers Market grocery store or south on Powers Boulevard to find Safeway and King Soopers.
Walkable neighborhood with access to Interstate 25
Interquest is one of the more walkable and bikeable neighborhoods in Colorado Springs, near several restaurants and shops. Public transportation is limited, so locals primarily use their vehicles to travel outside the neighborhood. Easy access to major roadway Interstate 25 leads straight south 13 miles to downtown Colorado Springs, with the Colorado Springs Airport about 20 miles southeast. "For convenience, you can hop right on the highway, but when you get home, you can walk to anything you need," Fletcher says.
Townhouses and contemporary homes with mountain views
Most residential areas in Interquest have only a handful of trees along the streets, most of which aren't taller than the homes next to them, leaving a clear view of the mountain ranges. Many roadways offer enough room for street parking without impeding traffic in either direction, while narrow sidewalks provide enough space for one person to walk without veering off the pathway. Houses in the neighborhood range in price from around $413,000 for a split-level with an attached garage to around $570,000 for a new-construction, contemporary-style home. Townhouses are common, ranging from about $415,000 to around $540,000 for a new townhouse built in the 21st century. Interquest residents won't find many yards or other suburban amenities but will live in a social part of Colorado Springs. Homes in the area sell, on average, after 73 days on the market, compared to the national average of 43.

Funky shapes and bright colors at Apple Park
Interquest residents won't find parks within walking distance of their homes; however, parks and outdoor activities are a short drive away. Mary Kyler Park attracts residents from Interquest and other nearby communities with its vast green fields and rocky waterfall that flows into the sparkling pond. Funky shapes and bright colors on the slide and other playground structures stand out in nearby Apple Park. The barn roof-shaped pavilion over the picnic tables keeps the sun off the tables and includes an arrow with letters depicting the direction atop the roof. A blue and white cow statue rests in front of the pavilion, providing a color-contrasting foreground to the background's green and red play area. Main Event provides locals with a place to go bowling and spend a Friday night inside. Across the street from Main Event, residents catch new releases at the Regal Interquest movie theater.
