Builders crafted Garrard Woods throughout the 20th century, tending to build larger as construction moved north. The neighborhood has a secluded suburban feel, with large yards lined with a mix of mature oak, magnolia and pine trees. “This is a community where people know each other by name; where folks have kept roots for a long time,” says Realtor Renee Coleman with Keller Williams Realty. Coleman has worked in the area for over 12 years. “There are a ton of local businesses nearby where people are regulars, people are out on walks, saying hi to each other.
