An urban community home to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital
Vickery is a densely packed urban community of attached homes and condominiums that doubles as a revered medical district. At the community's heart is Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center known for heart health, neurosurgery and women's health. Surrounding the community's central medical facilities are disparate condo, apartment and townhome complexes. And while the area's lower housing costs draw buyers in, nearby shopping and dining keep people around. "You never even have to leave the area," says local Realtor Lisa Richardson of Halo Group Realty, LLC. "Everything that you need is right there." Richardson has sold homes across the region for over 23 years. "Plus, a lot of new players are coming out to North Dallas, like Universal Studios, which will bring further growth to the area."
