The Brettwood Village Shopping Center is 2 miles southwest, also on East Pershing Road, and has familiar shopping options like Kroger and Aldi.

Community outreach from the Moundford Free Methodist Church
The Moundford Free Methodist Church is actively involved in the community, offering local outreach every Wednesday evening. “We offer locals the chance for recovery from their hurts, hangups and habits,” says Melody Smith, administrative assistant at Moundford Free Methodist. “We start with dinner and move into dealing with addiction and trauma.” The church also offers “Toss For A Cause” cornhole tournaments that raise money for worthy causes every month.
