A convenient neighborhood for boating and commuting on the Hillsboro Canal
Boating is a big part of the lifestyle in Northwest Park, a small community on the north side of Deerfield Beach. The neighborhood is right on the Hillsboro Canal, and while every house might not have a dock, homeowners can park their watercraft in the driveway since there's no HOA. They can also rent storage space at the neighborhood marina, Mizner Marina, which features a private boat ramp, on-site mechanics and more. Other canal access points are within walking distance of the neighborhood. Northwest Park is conveniently located between Interstate 95 and Dixie Highway. The busy roads and abutting industrial area make some noise; however, Northwest Park is still sought-after for its location just 2 miles from the beach.
Homes in Northwest Park are all custom-built homes with one and two-story layouts.
South Inlet Park offers Northwest Park residents beautiful beaches and natural landscapes.

Midcentury ranches and cottages meet 1990s Spanish Revivals
With only 11 properties sold in the last year and less than that on the market now, there isn’t a ton of turnover in Northwest Park. Despite limited sales data, prices roughly range between the mid $300,000s and mid $600,000s. The neighborhood’s ranch-style houses and cottages were built in the 1960s and ‘70s, while its smattering of Spanish Revivals cropped up in the ‘90s. On the low end of the price range are fixer-uppers, while newly renovated homes comprise the high end. Hurricane season on the Atlantic coast ranges from early April to late November. While many homes in Northwest Park are at minimal risk for flood damage, flood insurance may be required for properties on the lake or canal.
