Lakeside estates provide scenic water vistas, and you’re never too far away from any of the community’s amenities.
In most, if not all, communities in the area, residents have a wealth of amenities at their fingertips on a daily basis. Dean notes, “The clubhouses are a place to congregate, there’s so much to do, and its really easy to make friends.” No matter your niche, there is a club available for you, whether you want to discuss new or classic movies in the Cinema Club or learn new moves in the dance club. There are plenty of options to stay active, with the many tennis, pickleball and bocce courts available for residents, and if you want to get a workout in, there’s a fitness center to get your steps in for the day or reach your exercise goal. You can cool off on a hot day at the pool and meet some of your neighbors at the poolside café. There are plenty of social events that provide fun year-round.
There’s plenty to do outside of the community as well, whether you’re booking a tee time at the public Westchester Country Club, home to three 9-hole courses, or heading to downtown Delray Beach for a night out. Head to the Tuscany Shoppes to enjoy American fare at M.I.A., which has a lively happy hour. There are several options for dinner along Atlantic Avenue, ranging from fast food options to beloved chain restaurants. You can get fresh produce and other groceries from Publix or the nearby Glicks Kosher Market.
Parents in the all-ages community can enroll their children in Hagen Road Elementary School, part of the Palm Beach County School District, to start their academic journey. Students will then attend Carver Community Middle School and Spanish River Community High School afterward. Spanish River Community has an overall 9/10 rating from GreatSchools, offering Biotechnology, Law and Entrepreneurship programs that gives students first-hand experience in the field they want to pursue after graduating.
