Old-school charm on large lots
Homes in Eagleswood reflect traditional style and old-school charm, with ranch styles and Cape Cods common throughout. Newer subdivisions north of West Creek are filled with luxurious Colonial Revivals and modern Craftsman homes. These homes feature modern amenities such as updated appliances, open-concept floorplans, and primary bedroom ensuites. Prospective homebuyers can find grassy two-acre plots at slightly more affordable prices than in neighboring Stafford Township. “Homes on the market don’t last long around here,” DiFrancia says. “The people looking to come out here know what they’re looking for, and homes go quick as a result.” Ranch-style homes and Cape Cods range from $250,000 to $415,000, while Colonial Revivals and Craftsman range from $425,000 to $800,000. Some large waterfront estates can go for as much as $1.5 million.

A sunny afternoon can include a visit to Eagleswood Township Municipal Park, where visitors can play tennis or land tricks at the skatepark. A public access boat ramp along Dock Road caters to boating enthusiasts. “You have the beach on one side and access to state parks on the other,” DiFrancia. “The town is unique in that sense, and people really like that blend.” Locals can drift down the Westecunk Creek and spot an osprey or stay long enough to enjoy a watercolor sunset with views of Long Beach Island in the distance. “Just about anywhere in the area offers great views,” says Brown. “From the bay, you can enjoy awesome views of Atlantic City.”

Academies at Pinelands Regional High
Students can begin at Eagleswood Township Elementary, which earns a C-plus from Niche. From there, students can move on to Pinelands Regional Junior High School, which receives a C-plus.
