Restaurants on Berkeley Road and shops a short drive away

Cinder Bar on Berkeley Road is a contemporary local restaurant that serves American fare like burgers and pizza in an airy atmosphere complete with patio seating. A few blocks west, SUGARED by Sha is a modern dessert lounge with a wide variety of cupcakes and other sweets. Though there are a handful of convenience stores in the township, Save A Lot, located on West Broad Street about a mile north of East Greenwich, is the closest supermarket. Rosie’s Farm Market on Swedeboro Road, about a mile south of the township, offers an abundance of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables. For a big-box store, Walmart is about 7 miles north on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The Little Red Schoolhouse develops into a vibrant community center

For a small slice of unique local history, there's The Little Red Schoolhouse on Harmony Road. Built by Quakers in 1809, this small brick building served as the township’s only school for many years. After some renovations in the 1940s, it became a vibrant community center that hosts a range of local events.
