Blue collar environment in northeast El Paso

Bradley gives homebuyers access to single-family homes and proximity to schools and outdoor activities in northeast El Paso. Homes here are typically one-story with brick accents or painted with lighter colors. Smaller properties usually opt for brick or tile out front instead of grass. Backyards in Bradley either have grass or pools. Streets also bear the names of sports stars or cities in Texas. The neighborhood is “blue collar” in nature, says Patrick Tuttle, a broker with Coldwell Banker Heritage Real Estate. Tuttle says the area is also home to military families and those who work for the Border Patrol, as Fort Bliss and the border patrol facilities are within commuting distance.

Homes range between $200,000 and $350,000, with Ranch-styles being the most common. The community also has no homeowner’s association. Tuttle says most properties contain three or four bedrooms and considered “starter homes.” Bradley’s homes, most of which were built in the 1970s and 1980s, remain on the market for about 35 days, shorter than the national average. The community is attractive to military members, Border Patrol agents and their families, as Fort Bliss and the U.S. Mexico border are located 10 miles and 13 miles south, respectively.
