Sandstone Ranch Estates is a residential neighborhood with a military presence
Sandstone Ranch Estates is part of Northeast El Paso’s resurgence over the last two decades. Filled with homes built in the 2000s and 2010s, the neighborhood has helped spur the region's development, as restaurants and green spaces have cropped up around residential areas. It has a sizable military presence as it is close to Fort Bliss, but its amenities appeal to a wide range of people. “It’s a lot of well-built, 2,000-square-foot homes,” says Allison Dillard, a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty. “And if you like to mountain bike, you’re in one of the best spots for it.”

They are placed along wide streets lined with sidewalks on both sides, giving the neighborhood’s joggers and bike riders plenty of space. Most homes come with two-car garages and have gravel front yards in place of grass, though they can still feature bushes or small trees. The area can experience extreme heat in the summer, with temperatures reaching 105 degrees or higher.
