Working folks who commute to city centers should know that Elba Township is car-dependent; there is no public transport. Interstate 69 connects Elba Township to the neighboring towns of Lapeer and Davison, as well as to Flint, a larger city 15 miles away. In Lapeer, shop for groceries at Kroger, catch a train at the Amtrak station and get great deals at Walmart.
