Flushing Township blends country living with suburban pockets
Flushing Township is a mostly rural community surrounding the city of Flushing. While most of the long residential streets are dotted with homes on acres of land, there are suburban pockets. This gives its roughly 11,000 residents their choice of solitude and space or landscaped subdivisions. The city of Flushing sits in the corner of the township, offering convenient dining and shopping options. The Flint River and the community’s parks offer many opportunities for year-round recreation.
Some subdivisions in Flushing Township give a more suburban feel with cul-de-sacs and lush green lawns.
