Imperial Pride
Imperial Pride's ranches and apartment buildings
Imperial Pride’s residential properties are split between rented and owned properties. Along Imperial Lane on the southern side of the neighborhood are low-rise apartment buildings with unit available for rent. When looking to own in Imperial Pride, most homes are north of Manitowoc Road, with streets lined with ranch-style homes and duplexes liming the street. Trees line the sidewalks, planted at regular intervals for a planned look throughout. Homes typically sell between $175,000 and $325,000.Danish parties and log cabin bars by Imperial Pride
While a lot of the restaurants and food spots in and around Imperial Pride are chains like Taco Bell or Dunkin’, residents can stop in local spots like Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe. This bakery sells all kinds of pastries but is known for kringles—Danish pastries made from multiple layers of dough and stuffed with fillings. Uncle Mike’s does seasonal and monthly flavors, like pumpkin cream cheese in the fall or s’mores in September. Mackinaws Grill and Spirits’ menu offers everything from pasta and burgers to seafood and Mexican. Inside, there’s a complete log cabin that functions as the restaurant’s bar and regularly hosts live music. For groceries, Walmart is within the neighborhood, just off Main Street in the southeast corner of Imperial Pride. Aldi is on the other side of the throughway, about 1 mile away, in a large shopping center that includes several car dealerships, Kohl's, Hobby Lobby and the East Branch of Brown County Library.Prepping for game day at the grocery stores around Imperial Pride
During the warmer months, the Farmers’ Market on Broadway draws people to the western side of Green Bay for local vendors and live music on Wednesday evenings. Even on the eastern side of town, the Packers and football season are a big deal. “People take time off and prepare for the game in advance,” says real estate agent Elizabeth Helfenberger with Ben Bartolazzi. “They do all their shopping the day before and all the grocery stores are empty. Even the schools are adjusting their schedules for the draft.” On game days, residents cheer on the Packers from Lambeau Field, 6 miles from Imperial Pride, or host tailgates and watch parties with family and friends.Learning about nursing or culinary arts at Preble High School

Preble High School earns a B from Niche and is listed as the 27th most diverse public high school in Wisconsin. VT Pride Park is just off Imperial Lane by the apartment complexes. While only 2 acres, this park has a playground and plenty of open space where people can gather and play. It’s named after a former resident who was active in the community and wanted a space where the neighborhood kids could play. In the southwestern corner of Imperial Pride is the Salvation Army Kroc Community Center, which has aquatics, fitness and worship centers. It also offers several fitness and arts programs for children, teens and adults.Grocery stores and restaurants lining Main Street
Main Street is the main thoroughfare connecting Imperial Pride with the rest of Green Bay, including downtown. This street is lined with several of Green Bay’s grocery stores. East Mason Street is to the north, offering another route to get downtown and connect with the shops to the east. Because both roads are busier, residents may hear traffic while at home. Buses run along Main and Manitowoc roads for another way to get to the grocery stores. Aurora Bay Medical Center is just over 2.5 miles away via Manitowoc Road. On the other side of the city, Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport is 10.5 miles from Imperial Pride.
