Living along eastern Green Bay's grocery stores
Imperial Pride is an eastern Green Bay neighborhood that borders one of the main shopping centers on this side of the city. Main Street serves as the community’s eastern border, next to the East Town shopping mall and various supermarkets and big box stores. Imperial Pride itself feels less residential than other neighborhoods, with chain restaurants like Starbucks and apartment buildings occupying a large portion of the properties here. Imperial Pride don’t have to worry about longer drives to the grocery store to prepare for Packers tailgates, and downtown Green Bay is still nearby, just 3.5 miles away.

Prepping for game day at the grocery stores around Imperial Pride
During the warmer months, the Farmers’ Market on Broadway draws people to the western side of Green Bay for local vendors and live music on Wednesday evenings. Even on the eastern side of town, the Packers and football season are a big deal. “People take time off and prepare for the game in advance,” says real estate agent Elizabeth Helfenberger with Ben Bartolazzi. “They do all their shopping the day before and all the grocery stores are empty. Even the schools are adjusting their schedules for the draft.” On game days, residents cheer on the Packers from Lambeau Field, 6 miles from Imperial Pride, or host tailgates and watch parties with family and friends.
