Residential enclave close to Jacksonville and beaches
On Jacksonville’s east side, Atlantic Boulevard Estates offers desirable homes well connected to the city's highways. The neighborhood is intersected by Interstate 295 and bordered by Atlantic Boulevard, benefiting those commuting across Duval County or those seeking dining and retail. Buyers also appreciate how close they are to the Atlantic coast beaches. “Homes here appreciate over time,” says William Ramos, a local broker with 17 years of experience and owner of Integrity Key Realty. "There aren't a lot of available properties, so you need an active realtor to get in when something hits the market. When I post a listing, it usually sells within a week." Atlantic Boulevard Estates' midcentury homes and commuter-friendly location make it sought-after for buyers looking to move to the east side of Jacksonville.

I think as time has passed, crime and safety have gotten worse. For example, our cars have been broken into and sometimes we hear gun shots.

Where I live the atmosphere is nice, however some places are not as nice.

When I compare or contrast my area to the rest of the world, I would say that there are places that are far worse but also places that are better off. My area is not necessarily the prettiest and that is something that I would like to see be different. Places that look prettier appear more pleasant. I probably would not choose to live in the same area again because I feel like it is further from where I usually hang out and where my friends live.
