Neighborhood of small lots exuding 20th-century living

The neighborhood's residential avenues serve as pathways through American history, as streets such as Jefferson and Washington display classic housing styles, including Georgian, Tudor, colonial and Federal architectural styles. Many feature lengthy walkways leading to their thresholds, shaded by tall, verdant trees and flanked by narrow sidewalks. Lots are tightly packed to one another and have well-maintained yards and smaller fenced-in backyards. Houses reflect the early 20th-century stylized ornamentation, and prices typically go between $450,000 and well over $620,000 for recently remodeled retreats. The neighborhood is overlooked by the Greenway Fields Homes Association and collects the $160 annual dues.
