Easy to get around town from Volker
Volker’s central location makes it easy to navigate the metro area. State Line turns into U.S. Highway 56, which connects to U.S. Highways 171 and 169, which lead to downtown Kansas City and beyond. Volker is within steps of several RideKC bus stops.As a major employer, KU Med contributes substantially to the neighborhood’s economy. However, the high demand for parking can present traffic parking frustrations for Volker residents.

The Volker Neighborhood Association organizes annual gatherings such as the Volker Homes Tour in May, the neighborhood’s summer picnic and Volker Porch Parties in August.
