Finely crafted streets, rancher and split-level homes
Willowbrook’s neatly organized rows of streets give it a unique consistency compared to the twists and turns of its neighboring areas. Shady trees and modest, fenced yards separate ranch and split-level houses from each other, with vinyl and brick exteriors and neutral colors. Most of the area’s homes were built in the 1970s, with a small selection of condominiums in the area. Almost all homes in the area feature one- to two-car garages and concrete driveways, and many of the area’s interiors have been updated. Toward the area’s southern border on Marlowe Avenue, homes open up to views of the Rocky Mountains’ Front Range. Home prices can stretch from about $300,000 for a one- to two-bedroom condominium up to the $740,000s for a home with about 3,000 square feet of space. About 90% of the area’s residents live in owned homes, with a median household age of about 41 years old.
