Upscale living with plenty of amenities

Rancho Sienna pairs the natural beauty of Texas Hill Country with upscale homes. Located 25 miles northwest of Austin, this neighborhood consists of a number of subdivisions, emphasizing natural landscaping with picturesque hilltop views and towering mature trees that accentuates the area's scenic setting. “It is a really nice quality of construction neighborhood,” says Merissa Anderson a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty. “It’s established with large trees, and most new-build neighborhoods don’t have that. So you get the perks of a new build and established neighborhood.” Rancho Sienna offers an array of amenities including miles of hiking trails and 100 acres of parkland to explore. Residents can enjoy the neighborhood's quiet and peaceful environment, which adds to its CAP score of 1. There's a dedication to sustainability at Rancho Sierra. The community utilizes a 10,000-gallon cistern to capture up to 80 percent of the rainwater that falls on the roof of Sienna House, the community clubhouse. The collected rainwater is used to irrigate the surrounding landscaping.

Horse riding at Garey Park

Rancho Sienna's natural landscape is complemented by several trails and parks in the Texas Hill Country. Residents can take a walk along the Sienna Trail Park, which loops around the neighborhood's western side. The Sienna House, the community's clubhouse, is home to a pool and water park for a dip during the summer months. Garey Park spans over 525 acres, tucked along the San Gabriel River, with an abundance of amenities. The park, about 5 miles from Rancho Sienna, has fishing ponds for visitors looking to cast a line and miles of multi-use trails. The park's equestrian trails are a popular spot for horse owners. Members of the Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club can spend their day on the fairways of the club's Jack Nicklaus-designed course.

Modern estates and a wide range of home prices

A handful of subdivisions make up the community, including Lively Ranch and Highcrest Meadow West. All are made up of new construction estates, none older than the late 2000s. The homes of the Bluffview subdivision border the San Gabriel River. Gabriel's Overlook is one of the more upscale communities, gated with 24/7 security. Sprawling estates with infinity pools offer scenic views, either backed up to the river, sitting on a lake or tucked into a bluff. In any of these subdivisions, there will be large Craftsman, Prairie and Mediterranean-style estates. “It’s very price effective for price-per-square-foot,” Anderson says. “You can actually get a pretty big house for a great, functional price.” Home prices vary in each subdivision. For example, homes in Lively Ranch typically range between $375,000 and $500,000, where homes in Bluffview can start at $550,000 and can reach up to $1.2 million for newly built estates.

State Highway 29 and US-183 provides convenience for commuters

“It’s so close to Georgetown, Liberty Hill and Leander. You’re literally right at the corner of those three cities,” Anderson says. Rancho Sienna is less than a mile from State Highway 29. This main thoroughfare leads to Liberty Hill to the west, about 8 miles away and the central areas of Georgetown to the East, about 10 miles out. US-183, which is also close by, leads directly to Austin, which is about 30 miles out. There isn't much public transportation around, so residents use cars as their main form of transportation. Medical care is available at St. David's Georgetown Hospital, about 9 miles from Rancho Sienna. Proximity to West State Highway 29 makes commutes easy.
