Spanish-style ranch homes with pastel exteriors and tiled roofs line the secluded streets that wind through rolling greens and small lakes. Screened-in swimming pools can be found in the back, often with scenic golf course views. In the front, well-manicured lawns and multi-car garages are a common sight. Coastal-style condos present a multifamily option for living in the neighborhood. The Westminster Community Association oversees residents and charges a quarterly fee of $391 as of 2023. Single-family homes within the gates range between $300,000 and $500,000. Plenty of single-family houses outside the gates also feature Spanish-style architecture with stucco exteriors. Westminster’s inland location provides protection from stronger storms, but Lee County still recommends that homeowners elect into the National Flood Insurance Program. “Lehigh Acres is on the rise,” says Lisa Vagner, a local Realtor with Keller Williams Realty Fort Myers. “More homebuyers are considering Lehigh Acres a safer neighborhood for hurricane season.”
