A mostly rural community north of Little Rock, Morgan is ideal for those who want to live away from the city. However, the city is only 15 miles away. “It is an area off the beaten path so it is not uncommon to find a house with land that is an acre or more," says Scott Nauman, Realtor with Michele Phillips & Company who has worked in the area for 10 years. "It is an older established community that tends to be overlooked at times.” The community is mostly surrounded by mature trees, with narrow streets that weave through the community. Lake Conway is nearby Morgan, giving residents easy access to fishing. There is also the Big Rock Quarry Park, which gives locals a scenic view of the Arkansas River. Morgan is a community that gives residents easy access to the outdoors while giving them enough yard space for additional enjoyment.

Those who live within Morgan tend to live in ranch-style homes that were built in the mid-20th century or newer houses that were built in a similar style in the 2000s. A mid-20th century will cost about $200,000 while a newer model will cost about $300,000. “It is hard to find homes in this particular area because people tend to live there for long periods of time," says Nauman. The median listing price for a home in Morgan is $209,900.

Lake Conway is about 12 miles from Morgan. It is about 6,700 acres and is known as a fishing lake. Anglers can find bass, catfish and crappie within the lake. Big Rock Quarry Park, located on Bay Oaks Drive and is about 10 miles from the neighborhood, features a pump track and scenic hiking trails. Above the quarry sits Emerald Park and is where locals can look at the Arkansas River and the Big Rock Quarry.
Morgan is a 15 minute drive from popular hiking destination, Pinnacle Mountain State Park.

Smoke Shack Bar-B-Q on Highway 365 is where locals can get a large portion of barbeque, whether that is a pulled pork sandwich with fries or a brisket. There is also Bobby’s Café on MacArthur Road, which is known for its home-cooked southern food.
Within Morgan, there is a Dollar General on Highway 365, and Cantrell Road’s Pleasant Ridge Town Center is about 11 miles from the community, where residents can grocery shop at Fresh Market and go shopping at retailers such as Warren’s.
