Mansfield Township is a community near Trenton and Philadelphia
Swaths of farmland are cut through by state routes and highways in Mansfield Township, a community in western New Jersey close to the state line. Homebuyers can choose from active adult communities or single-family homes dispersed throughout the area. “Mansfield Township is an expanding community,” says Eric Strohm, a broker associate with Garden State Properties Group. “It was rural, and now it’s becoming more urban. You see a lot of residential expansion and a lot of business expansion in the area.” The stretches of Interstate 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike that run through western Mansfield Township run southbound to Philadelphia and northward to Trenton. “If you’re commuting, it’s a good way to be close, but not too close,” Strohm says. “That draws people there, along with the prices and quality of life.”
