The only restaurant in the area is the Country Café at Eagle’s Truck Stop, which serves southern comfort food like fried catfish. Otherwise, people travel into Mansfield for shopping and dining. Popular eateries include Billy B’s Cajun Grill, which has large portions of Louisiana staples like jambalaya, and Armadillo Mexican Grill. Residents can get groceries from Brookshire’s and do the rest of their shopping at Walmart. Target and Lowe’s are about 28 miles away.
