The most plentiful housing options here are late 1800s and early 1900s properties, with specific styles including Craftsman bungalows, Colonial Revival homes with hipped roofs and American foursquares. Prominent porches with overhangs and staircases are common, and many homes stand above ground level with basements below. Most properties were built between 1890 and 1925, aside from a few later one-off homes that popped up in the 1960s and 1980s. Single-family properties with higher upkeep needs start at $80,000 and top out near $126,000, while turnkey properties generally range from $170,000 up to $360,000. Converted two-unit homes and dedicated duplex houses generally range from $130,000 up to $406,000. Selected properties near the south end of the neighborhood may have higher flood risks, according to the First Street Foundation’s Flood Factor index.
