South of Ann Arbor, the town of Milan is shaped by its railroad roots
The town of Milan’s unique positioning in two Michigan counties is perhaps the best glimpse into what makes this small town different. Located about 30 miles southwest of Detroit in Monroe and Washtenaw counties, Milan has a population of just over 6,000 people.
