Residents of Myrtle Grove, a quiet suburb just outside of Naval Air Station Pensacola, are just minutes from work and minutes from the beach. "There are many service members living in Myrtle Grove," Realtor Shawn Keenan with Keller Williams Realty Gulf Coast says. While "the Navy base draws people," Keenan explains the neighborhood is "close to everything." The community's 17,000 residents are within walking distance of neighborhood playgrounds and corner markets – plus, locals know to avoid the summer tourists by visiting nearby Big Lagoon State Park and Johnson Beach.

"Myrtle Grove is way less price per square foot compared to the rest of Pensacola, but it's not a funky area – it's still pretty cool,” Keenan says. The median sale price here is $255,000, less than the national median price.
