Camden Lakes is a small, gated community in north Naples with a collection of newer single-family homes. The neighborhood maintains a natural feel with tree-lined streets and three scenic lakes. Popular shops, restaurants and sandy beaches are under 7 miles away. The neighborhood, popular with residents of all ages, features a community atmosphere with yearly events. "There are families and full-timers and retirees. Schools are just down the street, which is nice for those kids there," says Keri Huber, a local Realtor with John R. Wood Properties. "There is also a big Halloween spectacle and Fourth of July Celebration. They shut down the streets for Halloween, and one of the residents puts on a huge fireworks show during the Fourth.”

Development here began in the 2010s and today 150 single-family homes sit on quiet, sidewalk-lined streets. The houses feature eclectic Mediterranean flair, stucco exteriors, tiled roofs and multicar garages. "The modern floor plans are what people flock to," Huber says. "There are two sections. Smaller homes with two-car garages and larger homes on larger lots with three-car garages." Screened-in swimming pools and scenic lakefront views are common in the backyard. Most front yards are nicely landscaped and have a driveway. Prices range between $700,000 and $1.2 million depending on size. There is a mandatory HOA, but the neighborhood is not in a flood zone, meaning insurance prices will be lower.

Veterans Memorial Elementary is less than a mile away
The Collier County Public School District serves the neighborhood and is rated the fifth-best school district in Florida by Niche. "The district is great, and the location of the schools makes it good for families," says Jack Breyman, a local real estate agent with Domain Realty. "The neighborhood has got a big, family-oriented presence." Younger students can begin their education at Veterans Memorial Elementary School, which receives an A rating and is less than a mile from the neighborhood. The elementary is an established professional development school, meaning teaching staff receives consistent training from both Florida Gulf Coast University and area professionals. North Naples Middle School also received an A rating and offers numerous electives, including music, computer applications and entrepreneurship. Aubrey Rogers High School welcomed its first students in August 2023 and is currently ungraded by Niche. The brand-new high school features a state-of-the-art engineering lab and a performing arts center. Royal Palm Academy is a highly rated private education option less than a mile away.

Seed to Table is more than just a grocery store
Seed to Table is 2 miles away and has become a signature spot for the area. The 75,000-square-foot grocery store operates more like a farmer's market with shelves of freshly stocked produce sourced locally from area farms. The store has 6 "culinary" outlets that serve different cuisines, including a sushi bar and steak and seafood kiosk. Seed to Table is open past midnight every night and features four bars that host daily live music and special events. "There can be three bands playing at any given time," Huber says. Down the street, Oak and Stone is a popular Florida chain known for its craft beer and artisan pizza. The Mercato shopping center is 7 miles away and offers numerous name-brand retailers and upscale dining.
