Gated community with family events and scenic lakes

Camden Lakes is a small, gated community in north Naples with a collection of newer single-family homes. The neighborhood maintains a natural feel with tree-lined streets and three scenic lakes. Popular shops, restaurants and sandy beaches are under 7 miles away. The neighborhood, popular with residents of all ages, features a community atmosphere with yearly events. "There are families and full-timers and retirees. Schools are just down the street, which is nice for those kids there," says Keri Huber, a local Realtor with John R. Wood Properties. "There is also a big Halloween spectacle and Fourth of July Celebration. They shut down the streets for Halloween, and one of the residents puts on a huge fireworks show during the Fourth.”

Single-family homes with Mediterranean flair

Development here began in the 2010s and today 150 single-family homes sit on quiet, sidewalk-lined streets. The houses feature eclectic Mediterranean flair, stucco exteriors, tiled roofs and multicar garages. "The modern floor plans are what people flock to," Huber says. "There are two sections. Smaller homes with two-car garages and larger homes on larger lots with three-car garages." Screened-in swimming pools and scenic lakefront views are common in the backyard. Most front yards are nicely landscaped and have a driveway. Prices range between $700,000 and $1.2 million depending on size. There is a mandatory HOA, but the neighborhood is not in a flood zone, meaning insurance prices will be lower.
