That’s more cost-effective than nearby neighborhoods, such as Lake Redwine, where prices can reach $1.4 million. “It’s more to the lower end of the price spectrum in Newnan,” McInroe says. “And the homes are not very old. It’s got the open floor plan and all of the things that families like.” The houses, which can reach up to 4,500 square feet, typically have two stories, four bedrooms on the second level and three bathrooms. Students attend highly rated Coweta County Public Schools
Avery Park is part of Coweta County Public Schools, which earns an A-minus rating on Niche. At Elm Street Elementary School, rated A-minus, each student is provided a Chromebook or iPad. In 2021, it was named a National Title I Distinguished School for sustained improvements in academic performance. Students may move on to Evans Middle School and Newnan High School, both rated B-plus. After sustaining significant damage during a 2021 tornado, the high school was demolished and replaced with a $110 million facility. Students may also attend schools outside of those for which they are zoned due to Georgia’s school choice laws.
