The city has put forth revitalization plans, improving water lines and rebuilding streets. Locals can enjoy the quiet, residential lifestyle and close community feel in Fairmount Park, about 3miles from downtown Norfolk.

The neighborhood is mostly made up of small 1950s bungalows, ranch styles and Cape Cods, often selling in the $200,000 range.
