Restaurants close to home include Ichran Japanese Ramen and El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant. There's a Costco nearby and ALDI is about a mile away for groceries. Major events in the area include the Big Bands on the Bay Summer Concert Series, which offers free concerts every Sunday from May to September and the Thank Goodness It's Ocean Beach Friday Night themed beach parties run through August
