Cape Cods, split levels and ranch styles in Greystone-Centredale
Greystone-Centredale’s winding roads are lined with dwellings built throughout the 1950s. Most houses are two-to-three-bedroom ranch styles with sprawling or raised layouts. Homebuyers will also find a few Cape Cod cottages and split levels. Though residential streets don’t have sidewalks, the area’s wide, paved roads are still suitable for a stroll. Even with this amenity, houses typically have one-to-two-car garages or half-circle driveways. Homes here also cost between $350,000 and $500,000, a range similar to a North Providence home’s average $400,000 selling price. “This is a fast-moving area,” says Scotti. “Houses will sell within three weeks.”Public education in Greystone-Centredale
Children north of Mineral Spring Avenue can attend Greystone Elementary, which has an overall B-plus on Niche. Those who live south of the street can go to the B-minus-graded Centredale Elementary. Graduates of both schools can attend Ricci Middle School. In addition to its overall B grade from Niche, the school has a diversity committee that organizes events like the annual Latinx Bingo Night, where local Latin-owned businesses donate food and other goods. Lastly, students can attend North Providence High School. Lending to the school’s B-grade academics from Niche, students must complete a senior project before graduating. It focuses on a social justice issue of the student's choice and should accumulate the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they developed throughout their education.Staying active in Greystone-Centredale

Shoppers can get groceries at the Rhode Island local Dave’s Fresh Marketplace or go to nationally known options like Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Barnes & Noble.Getting around Greystone-Centredale

The main stage has a variety of musical acts throughout the day, including the North Providence High School band. There’s also a kid zone with bounce houses and face painters.
