In North Versailles Township, the people exude comradery. “The neighborhood is filled with people who have decided to stay here after growing up in the area,” says Alecia DiMatteo, a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices who has lived in the area her whole life. “It also attracts young people and starter families.” According to DiMatteo, North Versailles’ friendly home pricing is what reels people in, along with the well-regarded schools under the East Allegheny School District. The neighborhood is a key point in Pittsburgh, as it’s next to the Monongahela River, major highways like Interstate 376, and shopping destinations like the Monroeville Mall and the Waterfront. “It’s a great hub to get to many locations quickly,” says Kim Stotlemyer, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty, who has been selling homes in the area for nearly two decades. “There’s something for everyone here.”
