Living between Moore and OKC
The quiet residential streets of Bryant, also called Bryant Place, feel far removed from bustling city life but are actually less than five miles from Moore. Via I-35, Oklahoma City is about 10 miles away. “It’s not uncommon to drive 30 to 45 minutes for events and entertainment,” says Realtor and investor Whitney McNair from eXp Realty. “There’s quite a lot going on within that radius.” Residents are close to shopping and OKC Thunder basketball games in the city, but even closer to good schools right in the neighborhood. It’s common to see people out walking their dogs down neat rows of brick homes that vary in shades of red but are all under $300,000.
Homes with fenced-in backyards
Homes in Bryant are typically ranch-style and new traditional architecture with large two-car attached garages. They are laid out in a grid where sidewalks connect neighbors and the young trees growing in the yards provide seasonal color. “The houses all have fenced-in backyards,” says McNair. “Everyone has a pet here, so they need that fenced-in backyard.” Most homes were built in the 90s and 00s, with a handful of new constructions expected to be completed in 2024. A 90s built, move-in ready 3-bed, 2-bed ranch-style could go for around $215,000 while a similar home built more recently could go for $275,000.
The homes in Bryant typically have front-facing, two-car garages.
