Rainbow Lakes gets its name from the sprawling park that runs through it, but it’s also named after the small lake on the community’s west side, which gives many residents tranquil water views. Sheridan Street connects to Interstate 75, several miles away. Broward County Transit buses run along Taft Street and the city’s other major thoroughfares. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is less than 20 miles away.
