Center City is only a 30-minute train ride away
Public buses and nearby trains make it easy for Center City commuters to get to and from work. The Philmont Station offers a 30-minute subway ride into the city. Drivers can follow Grant Avenue to Interstate 95 and arrive at the Philadelphia International Airport in about 40 minutes. The Holy Redeemer Hospital is less than a 10-minute drive outside the neighborhood. A small private airport borders the east edge of Bustleton, but Fish confirms, “It’s never been an issue for residents.”

My overall experience in this neighborhood is good. I do not have any complaints. If I had to choose a place to live I would choose to live here again. I have seen better and worse neighborhoods but I believe that mine is somewhere is the middle.

Pros: quiet, safe, not too far from the suburbs or city, diverse, no parking issues and near Rt 1 Cons: still in the city, crime will sneak its way up, no good high schools for kids bd housing can be expensive
