Commuters can reach Baltimore in under an hour
Due to the lack of public transit options nearby, Pleasant Hills residents are dependent on their own cars to get around town. "Most people commute between Baltimore and Delaware, or locally within Harford County; there are military employers like Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood Center," says Kahl. Wilmington is a 55-mile drive north on Interstate 95, which takes approximately one hour. Commuters can also drive 21 miles south along Route 1 to Downtown Baltimore, which takes about forty minutes, depending on traffic.
